Tour starts at 12:00pm with check in at 11:45pm located in front of the San Diego Padres Team Store on Tony Gwynn Drive. Kick off your San Diego Rodeo experience with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Petco Park before the gates open to see how a world-class ballpark transforms into a full-scale rodeo venue. Guests will explore iconic areas of Petco Park, hear stories about the stadium's history, and learn how dirt, chutes, fencing, and livestock areas are brought in to create a professional rodeo environment right in the heart of downtown San Diego. Along the way, you'll hear fun rodeo facts, learn about key events you'll see later, and visit some of the best photo spots in the ballpark. The tour concludes in the On Field View area for an exclusive photo opportunity. Whether it's your first rodeo or you're a longtime fan, this tour is the perfect way to set the stage for an unforgettable night at Petco Park. A rodeo ticket is required to purchase a ticket for the Behind the Scenes Tour at the San Diego Rodeo.

2027 San Diego Rodeo 3 Day Pass - Ticket includes access to all three days. Events are Friday, January 15th, 2027, at 7:00pm, Saturday, January 16th, 2027, at 7:00pm, and Sunday, January 17th at 3:00pm. Friday, January 15: Saddle up for the weekend! Arrive early for BeerFest in Gallagher Square featuring $5 drinks before the action gets underway. Then, when the dust settles, look to the sky for a boot-stompin' drone show that will light up the night above Petco Park. Saturday, January 16: Arrive early for more $5 drinks at BeerFest, and the fun doesn't stop when the competition ends! Grab your partner and two-step over to Gallagher Square for a live DJ and line dancing that will keep the good times galloping long after the final ride.
