These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by Vantage (the "Service").
"Member" means a person who uses the Service by signing in with a Google account.
These Terms take effect upon being posted within the Service. The operator may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. An amendment is posted within the Service at least 7 days before it takes effect, or at least 30 days in advance where the change is unfavourable to users. If you do not agree to an amendment, you may end the agreement by deleting your account before the effective date.
Signing in with a Google account for the first time automatically registers the user as a Member. Members may withdraw at any time via the "Delete account" feature in the Service.
- Recipe: Provides recipe information based on the Korea public open data (Food Safety Korea) API - California Settlement Guide: Provides public policy information and interactive navigators for California immigrants and residents (ESL, housing deposits, wages & sick leave, utility discounts, health insurance/Medi-Cal, public school enrollment, bulky waste, emergency hotlines, opening a bank account, and other everyday-finance topics) - Smart Tip & Bill Split Calculator: Provides automated calculation of pre-tax tips, tax, and split amounts via AI receipt recognition - Smart Unit Converter: Provides calculators between U.S. customary units (Fahrenheit, miles, pounds, inches, etc.) and the metric system, including an AI feature that recognises numbers and units in a captured or uploaded photo and displays the converted values - Personal Vault: Provides saved recipe bookmarks and receipt settlement calendar/history tracking (logged-in members only) - Events: Provides California festival, concert, and sports event schedules sourced from the Ticketmaster API, along with curated attraction and museum guides - Certain features, such as data refresh, are restricted to administrator (admin) accounts for operational purposes.
Recipe and nutrition information provided by the Service is reprocessed from public open data APIs. The operator does not guarantee absolute accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Recipes may contain common allergens such as nuts, peanuts, shellfish, soy, wheat/gluten, or sesame. Users are responsible for verifying ingredients against their own dietary requirements and personal health conditions. The operator assumes no liability for allergic reactions or decisions made based on recipe information. Statutory benchmarks, legal citations, and calculated estimates in the Settlement Guide are provided for general educational purposes based on public government data. They do not constitute formal legal advice, medical advice, professional tax advice, or financial advice. Always consult a licensed attorney or certified specialist for individual legal matters. The receipt scanning feature uses AI-based optical recognition technology. Optical character recognition errors may occur due to print quality, lighting, creases, or handwriting. Users must independently verify recognized amounts (subtotal, tax, tip) against the physical receipt before payment or signing. The operator is not liable for settlement discrepancies or financial losses arising from reliance on AI recognition results. The unit converter's photo recognition feature likewise uses AI-based image recognition technology. Recognition errors in numbers or units may occur depending on the photo's angle, lighting, image quality, or print condition. Recognized values and their converted results are provided for reference only; users must independently verify the original displayed value in any situation where safety or financial outcomes could be affected (e.g. temperature, weight, or length). The operator is not liable for damages arising from reliance on AI recognition errors or converted values. Event schedules and attraction information are reprocessed from external sources such as Ticketmaster and the City of LA and City of San Diego open data portals. Event dates, venues, and prices may change or be cancelled without notice at the organizer's discretion. The operator is not a ticket seller; any ticket purchase or refund is a transaction directly between the user and the seller on the linked page (e.g., Ticketmaster). Always confirm the latest schedule and price on the official linked page.
The operator may modify or discontinue all or part of the Service after prior notice.
Members shall not use the Service for unlawful purposes or use another person's account without authorization.
The Service is run by an individual, provided free of charge, and used as it is. The operator is not liable for damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service, except where the damage results from the operator's intent or gross negligence. As stated in Article 6, the information the Service provides is reprocessed from external sources, and the operator is not responsible for decisions made in reliance on it.
Rights in what the operator made — the interface, design, source code, ingredient parsing results, translation dictionary, and search and ranking logic — belong to the operator. The underlying recipe and nutrition data are works of the respective public institutions, used under KOGL Type 1 (attribution). Rights in that source data remain with those institutions. You may use the Service for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, redistribute or commercially exploit a substantial part of the Service without the operator's prior consent.
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, analytics and advertising, and those parts are also governed by each provider's own terms and privacy policy. Advertisements and external links shown in the Service are not recommendations or endorsements by the operator. The operator is not responsible for the content of advertisements, for dealings with advertisers, or for problems arising on linked external sites.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure by the operator to exercise a right or provision immediately is not a waiver of it.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Where the mandatory consumer protection rules of the state or country in which you reside are more favorable to you, those rules prevail. Any dispute relating to use of the Service shall be brought before the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
